Hi!  My name is Susan Menchaca and I am a professional photographer in the North Austin area.  My love of photography started after the birth of my first child when I saw the importance of capturing all of life's moments.  I learned to use my camera through trial and error until I started classes through the professional photography program at Austin Community College. 

 

I am passionate about capturing true personality in photos.  My favorite photos are always the outtakes with someone being goofy and laughing naturally.  As a parent of 3 kids I know how hard and stressful it can be to get photos of all the kids, but I also know how important that is.  I strive to make photo sessions fun and stress-free! 

 

My love of sports photography comes from being an athlete early in my life.  I now follow my kids around all of their sports with my big camera and  as soon as they finish their event they ask "did you get any good photos?"  Kids love seeing photos of themselves.  

 

When I'm not behind my camera I love to run, eat sushi with my husband, and being sports practice uber driver!  My kids love their sports (running and swim team) and I love watching practices and meets.  We also have 2 cats and 1 dog and I always tease my kids by saying the dog is my favorite child.
